Unforgettable Lhasa & Ganden: Tibet's Sacred Heart Tour

We had a wonderful trip in Tibet with our guide, Ngawang (ཨ་དྲུང་ང་). Our group had mixed ages, including older travelers, but he kept everyone together and made the monasteries and mountain visits enjoyable. He was punctual, knowledgeable, and took great photos for us. Tibet Vista was very professional—Mary Huang quickly handled my application, arranged the special permit, and delivered it to my hotel. Their staff met us at the airport and transferred us to the hotel, making the whole experience smooth. Highly recommended for a memorable Tibet journey!

I have been dreaming about a trip to Tibet from a young age. However, due to a series of life events, I kept on postponing this trip. but still searching and pursuing my dream on line. Knowing my dream, one of my friends in the same travel group sent me a link to Tibet Vista. What a delight! I read the reviews and compared them to this agency and other companies. I decided to contact customer services and am very happy with Laura Tang's fast and prompt responses to my questions. We communicated by email and phone calls on Whats App. Sorry that sometimes I did not pay attention to the time difference, and I bothered her at her nonworking hours. Our group of 4 persons chose the Tibet tour including 4 day private tour in Chengdu. Before the trip, I was worried about Tibet Special permit. Laura assured me that we will receive the permits in Chengdu The tour agent welcomed us and picked us up from Chengdu. She was very great, very active and helpful. We all agreed that without her help at the West Chengdu Xi train station, we would have a hard time to get to our cabin. The train is old and crowded with locals. With her careful instruction, we changed to an oxygen train at Xining with no problem. The staff on the train is so helpful in assistance with my breathing problem. In Tibet, our tour guide Ten Ten Zin and his trainee are so attentive. From Ten Ten, I learned of lots of history, cultures, activities from monks in Tibet . He is very professional , knowledgeable. He was also willing to do extra effort to help me with my cough and breathing problem due to lack of oxygen and my slow pace due to my old age. Ten Zin and the assistant helped to buy me Tibetian cough medicine. Much appreciated. Unfortunately, Ten Zin was not available on the last two days of the tour. Tibet Vista does not only provide tour service, but also they care for each individual customer's needs. We had hipcups on the last day of the tour. Tibet Vista customer service agent ,Laura responded my email immediately. Wh ile I was reading her email responding, Ten Zin, the tour guide and Kunga , the customer service Manager showed up at my hotel to solve the problem, even though it was on Sunday, their day off. As a seasoned world traveler, I am impressed with the services by Tibet Vista staff. When my friends complained about the gas exhaustion of the van. We refused to use it the next day. I felt sorry for the driver who promised to fix it. Tin Tin explained to us that Tibet Vista contracted the van and driver from a state-run transportation company. They could not control the assigned van. The driver is very great. He showed up the next day with a cleaner van. He was always with me to help me with oxygen canisters, water bottles and supported me walking up and down with steps in the temple. The drop off to Lhasa airport on the last day was by a new car of Tibet Vista, not a state run company. Therefore, it is new and in a better condition. Over all, it was an interesting trip and unique experience such as a chance to try Yak's milk, visit a local 's family and enjoyed a traditional meal TIPS for potential travelers: It's worth it to pay extra $300 for more comfortable places and better breakfasts with more choices. We had a chance to stop by a 3 * hotel and were content with our decision for 4 star hotels If you are interesting taking the train with oxygen as my fantasy dream, skip the local train from Chengdu. Take Train from Xining - Lhasa is better, newer with less hassle. Tour to Tibet provided by Tibet Vista is unforgettable

The tour was very good and it went beyond my expectations. Tseyanh was also a very good Tibetan tour guide and she spoke English well. Overall a very good trip, would recommend.

My 6-day Tibet Vista tour was incredible, especially reaching Everest Base Camp. Tserina, my guide, made the whole experience fantastic. From Lhasa's culture to the stunning Namtso Lake, the scenery was breathtaking. Tserina's knowledge and smooth organization meant we just enjoyed every moment. For an amazing adventure in Tibet, this tour is perfect. And with Tserina, it's truly unforgettable!

Planning the trip was very easy. The car and hotel accomodations were very high quality. The itinerary was well paced and we were able to see the many facets of Tibet. Our guide was knowledgeable and spoke English well.

Lha Dup was an amazing host and guide. His knowledge was amazing and we benefited because he is Tibetan. I would highly recommend Lha Dup if you are booking this tour. Overall the experience exceeded our expectations. Our only concern was the altitude and how physically demanding the experience was for us being quite in shape. This is an experience that we will talk to friends about for a long time.

A trip to Tibet had been on my list for a very long time, and finally, it happened! Four fantastic days exploring Lhasa and Shigatse gave me a great understanding of this important and unique region. The parts of Tibet I visited were exactly as I expected—traditional, fascinating, and wonderfully strange in a very good way. On the practical side, the agent organised all the necessary travel documents, hotels, and transfers. My group's knowledgeable and very helpful guide, Lha Dup, made the trip much more enjoyable. Finally, I would like to thank the company and its staff for providing such a wonderful and fascinating experience in Tibet.
